KonTerra Ownership Evolution

The past few years repeatedly reminded us that change is the only constant (hat tip to Heraclitus). KonTerra has changed much since its inception and will continue to change as it fulfills its purpose of helping those who help others. 

KonTerra was founded in 2007 by Rick Augsburger and Bryan Martin, together with several minority owners. Over the years, evolution of the ownership pool ultimately led to a five-member ownership team, including Rick, Bryan, Lynne Cripe, Ted Gallant, and Menno Wiebe. At the end of 2018, Rick and Bryan stepped back from day-to-day involvement in the company; Lynne, Ted, and Menno stepped into the executive roles, overseeing all company operations and growing the company. 

As of 1 March 2024, the ownership of KonTerra is held solely by Lynne, Ted, and Menno as equal owners/partners. Rick and Bryan contributed immensely to making KonTerra the company that it is today and their legacy will endure. We are grateful daily for their courage in starting this company and their perseverance in ensuring its health and success. Lynne, Ted, and Menno remain committed to building on that foundation and shepherding the company’s culture in the years ahead.
