Claudia Salazar is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and founder of the Center for Effective Psychological Services, a group therapy practice located in downtown DC. She has been in clinical practice for over 10 years.
Over the past several years, she has been providing counseling (in person and remotely) to staff of several international development organizations in the DC area. Prior to immigrating to the U.S. in 1998, Dr. Salazar was in private practice in Bogota, Colombia. She holds a Psychology degree from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) from the George Washington University in Washington, DC..
