Marylin M. Beckley is an Industrial Organizational Psychologist and a licensed bilingual psychotherapist in Washington, DC. She is a certified trauma therapist and a national certified counselor. Mrs. Beckley has worked in the mental health field with multicultural populations for 13 years in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia and in Latin America. Her speciality is in Trauma & Crisis within: Immigration, Human trafficking, Cyber Sex trafficking, Violence against women and children, Gang/Community violence, Political violence, Sexual abuse/assault, & Addictions.

As a result, she has had the privilege to not only create and implement mental health programs all over Latin America and the Caribbean, but also helped trained psychologists, social workers, and public justice officials in trauma informed care and multicultural counseling particular to humanitarian mental health. Due to Mrs. Beckley’s clinical work and chief trainings provided, she has been featured in Harvard University, John Hopkins University, Cambridge Health Alliance, National Council on Problem Gambling, American Psychological Association, in addition to “subject matter expert” interviews, panels and mental health conferences.
