Walter Fordham is an Organizational Resiliency Adviser for The KonTerra Group with a passion for group facilitation, diversity equity and inclusion, leadership development and team effectiveness.
Walter is seen as an effective leader with cultural sensitivity, exceptional facilitation, coaching, and investigative skills, and strong employee development. His unique global experience over the past 25+ years has allowed him the opportunity to work with a variety of INGOs, non-profits, and government agencies in more than 30 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
Walter firmly advocates that tackling organizational conflict and fostering positive systemic change requires a deliberate examination of power dynamics. His conviction lies in the transformative potential of candid dialogues, which he believes empowers teams to achieve remarkable feats. Driven by this belief, Walter dedicates himself to cultivating secure and courageous environments where authenticity, self-awareness, and open sharing thrive.
Walter is a founding partner of The Collective 180, a consulting firm specializing in diversity equity and inclusion programming and organizational development. Prior to starting his consultancy, he worked at CARE USA, one of the largest humanitarian and poverty fighting organizations in the world.
Walter received his BS Degree in Economics from Oakwood University, and his MBA in International Human Resources from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He makes his home in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where he is married to his college sweetheart, who partners with him in raising their identical twin daughters, the heartbeats of his life.
