Erisa’s interest in humanitarian work started in university as she was working on her senior thesis focused on the genocides in the 90s. After college, Erisa worked for World Vision and IOM in both complex emergencies and development settings in countries such as South Sudan, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Turkey (refugee response), Albania, Kosovo, and Nepal. Sectorally, Erisa has worked in Shelter and Non-Food Items, Emergency Rapid Response, Maternal and Child Health and Protection.
Erisa holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Global Health from the University of Manchester, UK and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business management from the King’s College, NY. Erisa currently lives in Canada with her husband and two daughters. Erisa is passionate about her faith, homeschooling, travelling, and a good expresso.
