Terésa Jouan de Kervénoaël
Office Assistant/Receptionist
Terésa operates as the Office Assistant/Receptionist for the USAID Staff Care Service Center. Teré prides herself in helping the USAID workforce feel welcomed and at ease and assisting with administrative/facilitative tasks for the office, internal staff, and all visitors.
She began as a hair, fashion stylist, and makeup artist. She moved on to become an event planner for the original Adam’s Morgan Day Festival Committee, an annual event in DC, which then led her to become a consummate Corporate Concierge for 11 years, where she planned events and took care of many kinds of requests. She has been a career caretaker in more ways than one, as a Facilities Assistant, Concierge, and Receptionist. She believes her mission is to create value and contribute to people’s happiness, toward world peace, in any capacity she can.
She attended The Washington School for Secretaries and The National Inst of Cosmetology. She is a member of the Buddhist organization: SGI-USA, Soka Gakkai International, which means Value Creation Society-USA. Teré was born and raised in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland & Virginia), lives in Alexandria, VA., and loves dancing.
